Program Overview

The Training of Media Practitioners and CSOs on Preserving and Promoting Civic Spaces – is a unique opportunity to strengthen your skills and knowledge in an essential field. In this program, we will explore key concepts, strategies, and best practices for preserving and promoting civic spaces in today's evolving world.

Who Can Apply

This program is open to a diverse range of Ugandan individuals who are passionate about civic engagement, freedom of expression, and democratic values. Journalists working for media houses, representatives of civil society organizations, think tanks, activists and social media influencers who are 18 years and above are encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements

To apply for this program, please complete the online form and submit to info@africaniij.org a cover telling us why you are eager to be part of this training and how you envision contributing to the preservation and promotion of civic spaces which must include at least three references and your most recent CV or Resume.
